This classic, colorful Easter basket is made from reed both natural and dyed. The base is a beautiful 8” round wood base. Wood material varies, oak, cherry, black walnut, depending on what is available. The 8” oak handle swings out of the way to fill with goodies or to gather eggs. Students will complete their own basket in about 3 hours. Skills learned are laying out the base, twining, over/under weaving and lashing the rim. Great for beginners.
