The countdown is on for this year’s Art in the Park—our annual community fundraiser celebrating local artists, creativity, and collective strength. Attendees can explore original works from regional artists, take part in our Silent Auction, and enjoy a day filled with connection and inspiration. Artist registration is now open. The deadline to register and submit donated artwork is July 15, 2025.

Call for Artists: Janice and Ted Taylor Legacy of Art Juried Showcase
Theme: From Surviving to Thriving
Now in its second year, this juried competition invites submissions from artists of all backgrounds and experience levels. We’re seeking artwork that reflects personal or shared journeys of healing, transformation, and creative resilience. The selected works will be showcased during Art in the Park, with a $200 First Place Award.
This year’s theme reflects the heart of Women’s Resource Center’s mission—supporting individuals not just through survival, but in reclaiming hope, strength, and agency.
Showcase Date: Saturday, September 6, during Art in the Park
Opening Reception: Thursday, September 4 | 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Women’s Resource Center
Artist Registration Fee: $35, plus a donated piece for the Silent Auction
Deadline for Registration and Artwork Submission: July 15, 2025
