The Council on Adolescents (COA) is the lead agency in teen education and prevention programs in Catawba County. We serve local school systems, community groups, clubs, and faith-based organizations. COA serves more than 6,000 adolescents each year through a variety of in-school and community programs focused on teen pregnancy prevention, preventing distracted driving, making healthy choices, planning for the future, and resisting peer pressure.
