Catawba County Council on Aging

Our mission is to provide a focal point for aging resources, as well as opportunities designed to extend independent living and enrich the quality of life for Catawba County’s older adults. We operate the West Hickory Senior Center and partner with libraries, recreation centers, churches, and other organizations to provide services to senior citizens throughout Catawba County.

West Hickory Senior Center Food Pantry
non-perishable food, nutritional supplements such as Boost and Ensure, incontinence supplies

Volunteer

Medicare Counseling
train to be a Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) counselor

Tax Preparation
train to be an AARP Tax-Aide counselor

Newsletter Distribution
deliver newsletters to various locations throughout Catawba County
